Sample Itinerary*:

On day 1, after everyone has arrived and settled into the hotel, we will gather for a meet and greet and unveil the full itinerary for the tour. We will celebrate our reunion over a delicious tapas-style dinner.

After an abundant Catalan breakfast buffet at the hotel, day 2 holds our first market visit in store! We will tour Gracia neighborhood,  stroll around and visit local artisanal shops. We will do an olive oil tasting at a specialty shop owned by a friend of Camila's and fellow Slow Food member. Then comes lunch at a wonderful local restaurant. In the evening we will have our first cooking lesson and then sit down to feast on the fruits of our labor.

Day 3 begins with a visit to Camila's favorite Gaudí building, followed by lunch at a place highly valued by locals. In the afternoon, we'll have some free time and in the evening we'll share dinner at a local bistro that is another one of Camila's favorites.

On day 4 you will get a guided tour of the Gothic Quarter and Raval neighborhoods, the only way to navigate the tourist traps and find the real gems. A late second breakfast of hot chocolate and churros at a very antique spot will sub for lunch. In the evening we will have our second cooking workshop as a group.

On day 5 w e will enjoy a guided walk in the Collserola hills behind the city, with an expert gastro-botanist to lead the way, culminating in a picnic lunch prepared by staff. After returning to the city, you'll have some free time in the afternoon for optional activities. In the evening, you will have the honor of cooking in Camila’s own home kitchen, followed by dinner in her lovely home.

On day 6 we will visit an organic farm on the outskirts of the city. After a tour of the farm (and more surprises), lunch will take place there, under the trees (weather permitting), with a fresh meal, the epitome of local fare. In the evening we’ll go out to a cocktail bar in a trendy neighborhood, in a renovated hardware store, with gourmet small bites and live music.

In the morning of day 7 (don’t worry, we’ll give you time to sleep off the cocktails), we'll head to the beach after breakfast, and stroll around the popular coastal Barceloneta neighborhood. A tapas lunch by the sea is a typical way to spend a Sunday. Laze around a bit digesting your meal, or take a stroll, or go the spa or the salon to prep for tonight, but make sure you work up an appetite for our fancy farewell dinner in a special venue.

Finally, after breakfast on day 8, we will say our goodbyes with full stomachs and hearts!

*This is a sample itinerary; we are open and prepared to alter each tour to your group’s specific needs and desires!
