I am excited to introduce a new series of cooking for wellness classes at the beautiful Cooking School at Cavallo Point. Though I have been a regular guest chef there for almost 3 years now, my classes have mostly focused on regional Spanish cuisine. Chef Tony, the new director of the school, has invited me to wear my wellness hat, which I am more than happy to do, as I have lots of experience in this field. I strive to teach how delicious healthy eating can be.
Post-holidays, in the midst of winter, do you feel tired, run down, and in need of a boost? Many people tend to get sick this time of year, due to the excesses committed during the holiday season. In this hands-on class, we will learn about and cook with some key foods to boost our immune system in the wintertime.
