We are very pleased to be partnering with our friends at the Spanish Table for this event!
For those of you who love paella, but think it’s too hard to make at home, we will walk you through it step by step, so that you can end the class and sit down to a feast of our favorite food. The class features seafood paella, but we will complete the menu with a nice green salad, a pitcher of Catalan sangría, and a light appetizer to whet your appetite.
This class will be held on August 16, 2020 from 10am to 12pm PT. This is a fully interactive class. It will be held on Zoom, in a closed group with a maximum of 12 students. About a week before the class, you will receive the link, as well as a list of ingredients to source and equipment to prepare for the class.
Spanish Table is offering a special price for people who sign up for this class, for an ingredient kit as an add on to this class. The kit includes many (though not all) of the ingredients for this class, all top quality. The kit includes:
1 kg of Valencia rice
1 liter Aneto seafood stock
1 tin of Spanish smoked paprika
1 gr Spanish saffron
1 jar piquillo peppers
1 6-portion carbon steel pan for making paella rice
They also have suggestions for adding on wine to add to your paella pleasure! We highly recommend the kit; you can pick it up in store or have it delivered to your home.
